Inserting rfkill-input is necessary (I suppose some hal magic should insert it automatically); but for now, inserting it manually is required.
For the rest, I suppose your posted log is from a stock jaunty kernel. The kernel from Andy should contain backport of the patches included in kernel 2.6.29. So either we forgot a patch somewhere, or another module changed in the kernel.
