Public bug reported:

I have installed Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 Beta desktop i386 on Intel dual core 2.33
GHz with an ATI graphics adapter and Dell monitors(19 inch and 20 inch).
Initially when I installed Ubuntu only one of the of the Dell monitor was
attached.
Here is what I did:
1. I have attached the both monitors and powered up the system and the monitors
came up as mirror screens.
2. Using System->Preferences->Display, unselected "Mirror Screens".
3. The primary screen, Dell 20 Inch, with Launch pad showed up on left side,
but I wanted to make it on the right. So, I
drag and dropped to the right, and logoff/login. It moved the screen with
Lunching pad to the right, but the mouse cursor movement
left to right side does not work, rather the cursor can only be moved from
left to right side via left edge coming
through the right edge of the primary screen as opposed to crossing the
connecting middle-edge.

4. I have tried many iterations of swapping the cables of the dual
monitors attached to desktop, with no avail.

At this point I realized the tool is not working for me. What is the big
deal just to allow user select a monitor as primary as NVDIA GUI based
tool allow?
