I'm on Jaunty and borrowed a modem (provided by Swedish Internet
provider Glocalnet) that looks like this one. But it was not recognized
as a modem, only as a removable drive:

I was running hal-info 20090324-0ubuntu1 at the time. I don't have
access to the modem any more, but I thought I should report the issue
anyway.
