This also happens to me, on youtube and every other flash video site I have tried.
But it only happens with the sound volume notifications. The notification that I get when I pull the power cord on my laptop doesn't affect full screen mode. I can also disable notify-osd temporarily, and the same thing happens - both actions also pop up something in the center of the screen, but only the volume adjustment kills the full- screen mode. I suspect that the problem may be the volume control hot-keys themselves - the flash plugin might be interpreting the hot-key keystrokes as a command to leave full-screen mode. Except that when I disable the volume control functionality of these keys in gnome-keybinding- properties, pressing the unbound hot keys does not kill the video. So maybe it is something trickier than this. I am running flashplugin-nonfree version 10.0.22.87ubuntu2 and 3.0.8 +nobinonly-0ubuntu3 on an ASUS Eee PC 904HA. -- Notifications minimize full screen flash videos https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/355973 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
