Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg
my pc: amd xp 1700+ ram 731M graphic card nvidia geforce fx 5200 i'm using the proprietary driver nvidia provided with the above releases after a recent update (i cannot state when, but it should be during the last week) i did not get any longer the usual 1280 x 1024 resolution but 640 x 480 only in both edgy and feisty. examining the Xorg.93.log (btw why it is not .0. anymore?) it appears that all but 640 x 480 are not validated, please find underneath the interisting snippet: (II) Setting vga for screen 0.
