Martin, the following problem depended on Python but, according to doko it's fixed now: ERROR:root:NvidiaDetector can not be imported No module named NvidiaDetector.nvidiadetector
As regards this error: ERROR:root:NvidiaDetection returned a error: dir ./modaliases/ not found it looks like only in this case nvidia-common worked (without import errors) but the modaliases were not available. I guess it refers to the modaliases used by (and stored in) Update Manager as "./modaliases/" looks to me like a local path. Here's the part that failed in Update Manager (in DistUpgrade/DistUpgradeCache.py): http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/150801/ Michael, any ideas on this? -- nvidia -177 needs to be transitioned to -180 on upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351394 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
