Public bug reported: This bug is easy for me to demonstrate: open System/Preferences/Search and Indexing. The Tracker Preferences dialog appears. Select the Email tab and un-check the checkbox for email indexing. Click 'Apply', then 'OK'.
Now re-open the dialog and again select the Email tab. The checkbox is still checked. laptop:~> dpkg -l | grep tracker ii libdeskbar-tracker 0.6.92-1ubuntu2 metadata database, indexer and search tool - deskbar-ap ii libtracker-gtk0 0.6.92-1ubuntu2 GTK+ widgets for apps that use tracker ii libtrackerclient0 0.6.92-1ubuntu2 metadata database, indexer and search tool - library ii tracker 0.6.92-1ubuntu2 metadata database, indexer and search tool ii tracker-search-tool 0.6.92-1ubuntu2 metadata database, indexer and search tool - GNOME fron ii tracker-utils 0.6.92-1ubuntu2 metadata database, indexer and search tool - commandlin ** Affects: tracker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Tracker preferences dialog fails to turn off email indexing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360803 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
