Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager
I upgraded from 8.10 some days ago. But I realized that every time APPORT tries to report a failure or crash, it is unable to do it due to the presence of incompatible packages. When I run Update manager, it shows a big list of files to install/upgrade, but these files are already installed on my system. I made a full upgrade (as Update manager requested) some days ago, but even after that upgrade, update manager still instructs me to download a great number of files (228.5 MiB right now). Thanks in advance ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 Package: update-manager 1:0.111.1 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: update-manager Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686 ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Update manager keeps trying to donwload files already installed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360519 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
