*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 67532 *** Agreed, it would be nice (and help a lot of people, and Ubuntu itself) to have the fix released in Edgy. Please don't let it slip away into oblivion! This affects a lot of average users. I personally have friends with cameras affected by this bug - friends who don't know how to do troubleshooting (they submit their reports when the window pops up and that's all they know of it), and who consider their only realistic option to use their camera is to talk to their "linux friend").
