Public bug reported:

Attempting to pair my Lenovo W500 laptop with a Microsoft Bluetooth
Notebook Mouse 5000 fails. The Bluetooth Device Wizard reports:

'Device Setup

Setting up new device

Pairing with Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse failed'

This used to sort-of work in Ubuntu 8.10; i.e. it would pair but it had
other issues. Now it doesn't pair at all. Useless.
