I can confirm this problem. Just updated my workstation to Jaunty and now Rhythmbox is no longer able to stream sound to my Debian Box (Running lenny with pulse audio 0.9.10). When I press play then rhythmbox draws a red error icon near the title and skips to the next title. If I repeatedly press the play/pause button then it works sometimes. If I display the song properties via context menu then there is an error message in the properties dialog saying "pa_stream_proplist_update() failed: Not supported".
With VLC it works, paplay is also able to play WAV-files. Rhythmbox in Intrepid also had no problem with it. I'm also not able to stream sound from my Jaunty machine to an Intrepid notebook.
