Same problem here. I can edit and compile tex-files, as the output opens texmaker loses its focus (as it should). Closing the dvi/ps/pdf without doing anything to texmaker works, the courser is there again. I can even move it around with the keyboard. But as soon as I click in the editor the courser disappears and won't come back 'till I restart texmaker.
