Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pidgin
When receiving XMPP messages, HTML links are displayed as as unclickable text followed by clickable URLs in parenthesis. For instance, ''<a href="http://foo.com">foo</a>'' is displayed as ''foo (http://foo.com)''. Before the upgrade to jaunty, this was displayed as ''foo'' (a clickable link to http://foo.com). Updates from http://identi.ca received through XMPP in Pidgin are barely usable (see attached screenshot). This is with pidgin 1:2.5.5-1ubuntu5 on Jaunty ** Affects: pidgin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Links in message are displayed as unclickable text followed by clickable URLs in parenthesis https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/357888 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
