#It appears that the eject button works like one would find on the front of a dvd player with a tray. #The following setting in /etc/sysctl.conf will make it work ## allow eject of cdrom using eject button #dev.cdrom.lock=0 #Works? That does eject the CD/DVD from the computer but the kernel does not unmount it before eject. It leaves a CD/DVD icon on the desktop that can not be removed. There should be a better solution. ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 180866 [XPS M1330] Eject Button Doesn't Work -- CD/DVD does not eject on M1330, even though eject -v says command succeeded https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310138 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
