jaunty beta was running OK on this IBM Celeron ThinkCentre A30 i845 graphics. Admitedly video is jerky on jaunty on i845, but it worked.
After "Update Manager" updates, nautilus wouldn't start at all. No "Places" file browser at all. Black screen. Applications & System worked. Wiped out jaunty, re installed to level as shown by cat /proc/version Linux version 2.6.28-11-generic (bui...@palmer) (gcc version 4.3.3 (Ubuntu 4.3.3-5ubuntu4) ) #40-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 3 17:39:51 UTC 2009 which is now working, video & all, a jaunty jerky video as before. ? My best bet, "Update Manager" screwed up.
