I'm sorry for not responding earlier. I tried to patch and compile the kernel source package following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Kernel/Compile , but the compiling procedure failed.
I have not tried the different sleep modes yet and my AP is setup with WPA. I've updated the system today and it installed a new kernel. The "uCode" error seems to be gone, but the device does still not show up in ifconfig. ** Attachment added: "uname-a.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/25012617/uname-a.log -- [jaunty] Intel WiFi Link 5100/iwlagn not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350370 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
