Public bug reported: [needs-packaging] <fsarchiver>
FSArchiver is a system tool that allows you to save the contents of a file-system to a compressed archive file. The file-system can be restored on a partition which has a different size and it can be restored on a different file-system. Unlike tar/dar, FSArchiver also creates the file-system when it extracts the data to partitions. Everything is checksummed in the archive in order to protect the data. If the archive is corrupt, you just loose the current file, not the whole archive. URL: http://www.fsarchiver.org/Main_Page License: Fsarchiver is released under the GPL-v2 license. Notes: This program is similar to partimage, but CLI based. Partimage is no longer maintained and does not support ext4 FS Src code: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=244682&package_id=298332 Static binary for i386: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=244682&package_id=299271 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- fsarchiver [needs-packaging] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/357289 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
