Brilliant! Thanks guys. I've noticed that there's a problem with my keyboard though - both my desktop (Intrepid) and laptop (Jaunty) are set to UK keyboard layout, but when I use quicksynergy and try to type on the laptop with the desktop's keyboard, @ is Shift+2 like a US keyboard. At least this is an improvement on the weird greek omega character that used to appear instead of @!
