seems like the new plugin doesn't get loaded. (you can see the plugin version in the soundkonverter config dialog at the plugins tab; ffmpeg should now be version 304.) have you copied the file to /usr/share/kde/apps/soundkonverter/plugins/ (i think that's the path in ubuntu)? you should overwrite the existing file.
