I looked at the Ubiquity debug file and the warning message about the Installation medium being mounted never gets displayed
And although i dont know python it appears from the traceback that a FIXME may be involved. Tomorrow I will try to Install the last beta (4/02/09) that worked and see what the results of the debug file are.
