Public bug reported: Ubuntu Desktop 9.04 Beta
Ralink Technology, Corp. 802.11n wireless card will not connect to wireless network if WAP/WAP2 security is used. It will properly ask for password and attempt to connect but always fail. Rebooted router several times, tried changing password, no change in result. Card will properly connect if no security is used. Installed all available updates as of Saturday morning but no change in result. This is still an upgrade from Ubuntu Desktop 8.10 since in that version the default install will not even detect the wireless cards existence. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Wi-Fi WAP/WAP2 Connection Failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/356071 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
