Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch) Release: 9.04 firefox-3.0 Firefox takes a lot more time shutting down than it used to on my 8.10. When I shut it down it takes at least 5 seconds to shut down. While it is shutting down I can hear/see a rise in disk activity. I also nearly always get the "wait/force quit" dialog when shutting down firefox. I am not the only one as it is discussed in this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1018941 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: firefox 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu2 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: firefox-3.0 Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64 ** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- Firefox 3.0.5 takes long(er) to shut down https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/355823 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
