Hi, although I really appreciate your contribution to Debian/Ubuntu by filing bugs I must say that this is not a way. Please *do not* file a bug report about a known issue just because the link in another but report is broken [1]. I have other stuff to deal with.
You can find a working version of pidgin-lastfm at http://http.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/p/pidgin-lastfm/pidgin- lastfm_0.4a-1_all.deb Hauke [1] The reason for this link being broken is that Debian had *two* new upstream versions while Ubuntu still has this old buggy version.
