Several (optional) packages provide support for file systems not included in libparted.
For example, the ntfsprogs package provides the commands necessary to work with the NTFS file system. If ntfsprogs is installed, then GParted will use it. You can view which packages are required to support a specific file system within GParted using "View -> File System Support". Alternatively, you can view the required software online at: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/features.php -- Intrepid, Gutsy: GParted features not usuable (eg NTFS, XFS partitioning) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/193398 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
