Can you explain a bit more? Addons for firefox are installed in ~/.mozilla/firefox/FOO.default and both firefox 3.0 and 3.1 use this folder. Though I don't know if thats the case for plugins installed through the gnome-app-installer, but those plugins can always be installed by browsing to https://addons.mozilla.com
Do you really need a /usr/bin/firefox file? And if so, what for? You could always make a symbolic link to the firefox-3.1 file. sudo ls -s /usr/bin/firefox-3.1 /usr/bin/firefox (Probably when firefox 3.5 arrives, the binaries will be replaced) ** Changed in: firefox-3.1 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Please make firefox-3.1 Provide: firefox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/353120 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
