Finally, I have made it work! Here is what I did: 1. delete ~/.scim 2. delete /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/* 3. uninstal scim and all its components 4. install scim 5. run "im-switch -c" and select "scim"
after these steps everything begins to work.
