Public bug reported: Binary package hint: seahorse
I just looked for a colleagues PGP key in order to add it to my keyring as a test. While I found his key OK, it seems to be being parsed badly by seahorse. His key is of the format: "Firstname Lastname (Firstname Lastname) <a.n.ot...@domain.com>" Seahorse is parsing this as the following Name: Firstname Lastname Email: <a.n.ot...@domain.com Comment: Firstname Lastname There's an extra character appearing in the mail address. Another example of this can be seen in key 0x877B48D7 (look it up on pgp.mit.edu and then compare this with the parsing that seahorse does). It seems to be reproducible with any key containing some text in parentheses. If there is no text in parentheses present then the email address is extracted from the key correctly by seahorse.
