I see your DpkgTerminalLog.txt is filled with messages like the ones
listed below.  I wonder if the .deb is corrupted.  What happens if you
remove the .deb file and re-run the update?  Please let us know.
Additionally, it seems from your dmesg output you are running the even
newer 2.6.27-11.27 kernel already.  Thanks.
