siucdude, you got a different crash (a python exception instead of a segfault). Do you have any idea how to reproduce your crash? If so, I'd like to give you a version with extra debugging information to find out what went wrong; in particular, I need the crash report that apport-gtk was processing when it crashed.
mari, all others, we have a new python2.4 version in feisty now. Can you please upgrade and try again?
