Public bug reported:

I use an aspire one (A110) - 8 GB ssd.

The machine seemed to go into hibernate fine, but when I pushed the
power button it started a normal boot.

The system seemed to notice this and asked if I wanted to do a bug
report, so hopefully all relevant information is attached. The system
reckons it is a resume failure (hibernate/resume) and that would seem to
be the case from what I observed.

I have added resume=swap:/dev/sda5 to the kernel line in
/boot/grub/menu.lst

I am using the jaunty beta, fresh install. Note that suspend to RAM
works fine.

$ uname -a
Linux mishone 2.6.28-11-generic #37-Ubuntu SMP Mon Mar 23 16:40:23 UTC 2009
i686 GNU/Linux

$ cat /proc/cmdline
root=UUID=c7657dea-270e-49da-8e8f-c13ce5cb5e76 ro quiet splash
resume=swap:/dev/sda5

$ cat /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume
RESUME=UUID=8d4648ec-a194-4368-850f-272db2b47e32

(and this uuid does match the swap uuid in /etc/fstab)

I will test for reproducability and report back as a comment.
