I have made a new install of Ubuntu 9.04 beta (same hardware), and here is more info: -Sound is disabled by default: I must go to alsamixer and enable "PCM-2" -Mute button on laptop keyboard does not work (mute icon appears, but keyboard button only mutes "PCM", leaving "PCM-2" un-muted) -Clicking the sound icon on the "gnome-panel" and clicking "mute" does not work (happens the exact same thing as above) -Yes, I am able to mute ALL sound using alsamixer -Yes, "sound itself" seems to be fine
