Yep, verified it with both the Qt and Human GTK styles. I am running a Dapper upgraded to Edgy system though, maybe some left over cruft is causing the text not to turn white? To be clear: The _text_ of the menu item should change white as per the default kubuntu color scheme, but it stays black. The menu item still gets highlighted in blue correctly. Unfortunately the blue highlight without changing the text color to white makes GTK menus hard to read.
