I have no problems opening that link on any browsers, i tried 8 browsers. If
you still have problems please list all your extensions and what you mean by
"causes every application to close" What do you have open and what closes.
Firefox wont bring down other apps that are no a plugin for firefox so it makes
me think its something local to your system, Marking as incomplete for now
