Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Paste function in OpenOffice Writer.

Try to replace the following selection "Euro" with the symbol "€".

When I paste the symbol, the first two characters (i.e "Eu") are
replaced but the last two characters (i.e "ro") still show.

When I scroll up / down in the document and go back, the text displayed
is correct.

Environment : Ubuntu 8.10 (Ibex) on a AMD64x2, 2 Gb RAM, 320 Gb HD (1
IDE HD and 1 SATA HD), OpenOffice Writer 3.0.1 (could not find the
package name OOo2Dbk ?)

Thank you for your time.

Regards,

Bernard
