hummerbliss - Go to Administration->Services and check the status of lm-sensors service. Somehow it got deactivated at my computer and I started getting the same messages. I activated it again and now the messages disappeared again. But I am not certain that automatic speed adjustment works at my computer(set as an option in the BIOS), because it seams that my cooler tends to run faster on higher temperatures as if it regulates itself without external regulation.
