It is important to make file bug reports to a specific package to help ensure that it gets looked at by the proper developers. That being said, can you comment if this is still an issue with the latest pre-release of Jaunty 9.04, currently Alpha 6 - http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/jaunty/ .
