Processor: AMD X2 64 6000+ ("ADV6000IAA5DO")
Mainboard: ASRock ALiveXFire-eSATA2 R3.0
BIOS-Version: 3.10 from 2/24/2009       (latest today)

Issue:

Cool'n'Quiet Technology doesn't work. Both CPUs stay at maximum
Frequency even if there is a system load below 1% for hours.

Tested on:
- Ubuntu Destkop 8.10 32 Bit edition
- Ubuntu Desktop 8.10 64 Bit edition
- Ubuntu Desktop 9.04 64 Bit edition (Live-CD)

Expected:
The CPU should lower its frequency if there is not much CPU utilization.

What happend instead:
Permanently CPU frequency is at maximum.
