As it seems this bug isn't a problem of Brasero but rather a problem of gstreamer-plugins-bad.
As already mentioned in this report, this is the comment from an upstream Brasero developer. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=564169#c6 This are the requirements to make the Video Project work. -ffenc_mpeg2video -ffenc_ac3 -ffenc_mp2 -mplex It would be great if the this bug could be resolved before the final release of Jaunty.
