Also have exactly the same problem HP LJ 4000 with default driver. If I choose Generic/PCL5e or PCL6 XL printing works without error. But tray selection works only with correct "HP LaserJet 4000 Series Postscript [en] (recommended)" driver. Do anybody know, how to get tray selection working with any other driver?
