Public bug reported: The broadcom-sta driver is slow during scan of wireless networks. The ping times goes sometimes even up to 1000ms. If I switch to WICD Networkmanager everything become useable because wicd does not scan every minute or like this.
Perhaps it is possible to add a workaround to NetworkManager to scan only on demand or something like this if the official broadcom-sta driver is used?
