Public bug reported:

Hardware: IBM Thinkpad X30 with Linksys WPC11 version 3 wireless PCMCIA.

Anytime I try to upload files (using any protocol, FTP, NFS, Samba) to a
remote computer, Edgy crashes hopelessly requiring me to hard-reset my
computer. This is a stock install of i386 Edgy with all the latest
upgrades. Since this did not happen in Dapper and I can upload just fine
using the built-in ethernet card, I'm assuming the wireless card driver
for the WPC11 is the problem.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed

** Summary changed:

- Local file upload via WPC11v3 crashes Edgy
