With Sync Vblank unchecked... (and AFTER installing a universe or multiverse package NOT enabled by default...)
- glxgears 230fps!!!! (great!! amazing!) - BUT NO RENDERING ERRORS I am still very unimpressed. If I want to use the full capabilities of this eee 901 graphics hardware the only way is to install WinXP!! (what a crap!) Seriuosly! I don't care if more or less Windosers switch to Linux... but why should WE (the linuxers) suffer worse performance and CRAPY graphics drivers like these! Do they do (Intel) it on purpose? Why can't they do drivers that compare with their own windows ones? Is it that much difficult in linux?
