In that case, I suspect the issue is a mismatch between the libdrm version we're using, and the version of DRM in the kernel. It was updated to include the latest DRM bits for -ati. I also requested that the -intel DRM kernel bits be updated but I'm not certain whether that made it in or not. If not, perhaps we have to live with the error message (we can't downgrade libdrm because I think -intel 2.6.3 would fail to work; but maybe the error message could be suppressed some other way).
Opening task for the kernel team to look into this. Hopefully if it's just that newer DRM bits are needed, it's something they can pull in post-beta. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New -- [i945GME] drm:i915_getparam *ERROR* Unknown parameter 6 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/341363 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
