I have found a work around which I use now: If I switch of the Wifi card with the switch on the laptop (physical switch) and then unplug the powercord and then switch on the wifi card again, everything works fine!!!!! Whether the powercord is inserted or not when switching the Wifi card on again.
Not sure what this means, but apparently the kernel disables something when the switch is turned of and then the whole powercord event does not trigger the problem. -- [HP Pavilion dv9000 (dv9645ed)] Wireless stops when switching to battery power https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/324051 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
