Im having the exacly same problem with hard heron. The nm-applet see all networks but are unable to join any that have a keyword or password. I simple keeps asking for the password over and over again. However, it can connect to networks without pass, but if I change the network settings to have a pass I doesnt work again.
And, for networks that it could connect before this problem, even with passwords, it can connect!!!!
