I have the same problem. I use Dapper Drake. Everything was working fine for the last 2 months! The system stops for a very long time at loading hardware drivers and then halts with the following message "udevd-event[3148]: wait_for_sysfs: waiting for '/sys/devices/platform/i82365.0/bus' failed". Also there are 2 things which failed in the list. 1. Loading hardware drivers 2. Starting PCMCIA services. I guess the 2nd one had always failed without giving any problems. Now the boot process does not continue and am not able to use the system at all :-( Please someone help me!
