The kubuntu-experimental PPA is in about the same boat as Jaunty really, since it is, well, experimental. Once the packages are stable they'll be pushed to intrepid-backports. Anyway, I uploaded the fix a few hours ago. It should be done building/be deployed in 45 mins or so.
