Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.15-27-k7
System is a Asus A7V600 motherboard, 2GHz Sempron combination. 2GB RAM, two SATA disks that are mirrored using MD. Everything has been working fine until my /dev/md3 (230GB) required rebuilding. The system would hang solid at random intervals, most notably when I was browsing the web. After googling a bit, I came across Debian Bug#347412 that matches what I see. This is an issue on the latest Dapper kernel. AP for me, to attach system information (lspci/dmidecode, partitioning info, md setup etc) once the system is in a state I can get this info off of it. In the meantime, if any other info would be useful, add request to bug and I'll get it as well. /Anders ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed ** Affects: Debian Importance: Unknown Status: Unconfirmed ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #347412 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=347412 ** Also affects: Debian via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=347412 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- SATA/Promise and skge NIC driver together gives system hang https://launchpad.net/bugs/77386 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
