Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
Feel free to return it to incomplete, or set it to wishlist for something like adding a cache size/activation/position option. My opinion is that the actual location of this cache in /var is normal and compliant with the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard. A "classic" user don't separate his /var in a different partition, only an advanced user do that, and can also understand how to correct this type of problem. For information my /var/cache/apt only take 163MiB on my intrepid. ** Changed in: apt (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: apt-cacher => apt Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- /var/cache/apt filling up my /var partition https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/104505 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
