I was stuck in presentation mode with no way out - no menu bar. Escape does nothing. I discovered the F5 key will kick back to continuous mode. Closing at this point saves the setting as a global, so future documents will be open in continuous mode. I understand now, but for someone encountering this for a first time, its a bit of a hassle doing the research to figure out what to do. Maybe the way it operates was intended by the programmers. If not, then there needs to be some enhancements to the documentation to clarify, as well as some command line help.
